Our Singapore campus was abuzz with extra energy and excitement on 18 January as tech enthusiasts and aspiring career changers braved the rain to attend our much-anticipated Campus Day.
Campus Day, designed to provide attendees with a unique experience to get firsthand opportunities exploring our coursework and our community, featured a full day of free classes, hands-on workshops, expert-led info sessions, and plenty of time for networking.
With 340 registrations and many attendees staying for multiple sessions—this year’s event truly showcased the demand for reskilling and upskilling in Singapore’s (and the world’s) rapidly evolving tech landscape.

Workshops that packed the room
Campus Day featured five expert-led workshops, three of which sold out due to overwhelming demand. Here’s a quick recap of each session:
- Beginner’s Guide to UX Design
This hands-on session introduced attendees to the world of user experience, teaching foundational skills like user research and wireframing. Participants left inspired by how UX design impacts everyday life and equipped to think like UX designers. - Beginner’s Guide to Data Analytics
Guided by GA’s expert instructors, this session offered practical insights into data cleaning, organization, and analysis. Attendees gained hands-on practice extracting meaningful insights from raw data—a skill critical for today’s data-driven industries. - The Career Equation: Aligning Your Values, Interests, and Skills
This thought-provoking session helped participants reflect on their career paths, providing strategies to align personal goals with professional opportunities. A certified coach offered tips for navigating tech’s dynamic job market while staying true to individual aspirations. - Hands-On Coding Basics: HTML & CSS
Aspiring coders got a taste of the magic behind websites by learning HTML and CSS fundamentals. By the end of the workshop, many attendees were excited to continue their journey into software engineering and web development. - Generative AI Fundamentals
This class offered a captivating glimpse into the present—and future—of AI. Led by a practicing industry pro, participants explored the possibilities of generative AI, learning how it’s reshaping industries and sparking innovation across the board.
Lightning talks and networking: Building Singapore’s tech community
Between workshops, attendees enjoyed lightning talks from GA Singapore’s Admissions, Student Success, and Outcomes teams. These short but impactful sessions shed light on how we support our learners, from guidance on the admissions process itself, to the many ways we empower your career success before, during, and after you take a GA course. Special shoutouts go to our awesome GA speakers who engaged attendees with their real-world insights.
Outside of lightning talks, networking opportunities were another highlight of the day. Attendees connected with like-minded individuals, GA alumni, and industry professionals—helping further our commitment to serving as a hub for tech community and collaboration.
Above and beyond: 1:1 time with our instructors
One of the standout aspects of Campus Day—and one that absolutely exemplifies who we are as an organization—was the dedication shown by our instructors.
Even after the workshops were technically over, our instructors remained available (for at times almost an hour after the workshop) to take one-on-one time to answer individual questions and provide personalized advice. Outside of highlighting our commitment to our learners, this one-on-one attention also reinforced the value of live teaching—and showed attendees firsthand what feeling supported and motivated feels like when you choose our learning experience.
Exclusive perks and opportunities
Campus Day attendees also enjoyed exclusive access to a $1,000 bootcamp discount—an extra incentive to take the next step in their tech journey.
Additionally, Singaporeans and PRs were reminded of the generous TIPP subsidies available to GA students—with a typical student being able to access 70–90% of the subsidy. They also learned that along with TIPP subsidies, GA bootcamps are also eligible for SkillsFuture Credits and PSEA funding, making our tech training courses a financially accessible option for anyone looking to upskill, reskill, and completely change their career.
Singapore Campus Day 2025: A success in more ways than one
From total signups to NPS score across sessions, this year’s Singapore Campus Day was a resounding success.
